Climate Change

Hi everyone!

Today I'm gonna talk about the climate change; a topic that is in the mouth of the world right now.

Personally, the climate change that has taken place in the last 50 years afffects me a lot. However, I worry more as we continue to distroy our planet and without makin changes about it. This is why we need to change people's mentality  from the roots and, above all, to generate  a change in future generations. I think the two most significant solutions roght now; reduce the consumption of meat and decrease the use of the plastics. 

Sometimes I get angry because the great leaders have made sure that big companies don't have any type fines for the pollution they generate. Quite opposite they blame people for the climate change and they say that people aren't able to recycle or things like that. 

We are in time to change the system and do something for oue future home. I don't want my children to live in an unavoidable world and with a poor quality of life. :(

I hope to help as muchas possible to save the planet. This was one of the reasons why I chose my career so that I could demostrate my knowledge.

My pets

Hi everyone it's nice to write for you again!

I gonna talk about a topic I really like beacuse I love pets. I always loved all my pets. In my live I had dogs and a hamster but the last was for a short time :(. My first pet was a dog and her name was luna. The truth is I really don't remember that pet much because I was 6 years old and she died very early.

After that death my parents decided don't have any dog for a long time because for them it was sadder. However for a Christmas they gave me a hamster I call her Yina. I had Yina for 3 years and after that she got sick and died. She was the best roommate ever.

After one year a friend gave me to Luni my most precious and partner dog. She lived with me 14 years and when she died I suffered a lot because I was all day with her. Went to the park all days that was she really enjoyed. I spent 3 months in mourning and my parent decided to give me Bruno. My firts male dog and my current pet.

My dream travel

Hello bloggers, here we go again!

In my first blog I'm going to talk about the country that I would like to travel in a near future. Even though I've travelled a lot at my 21 years old I wanna travel more and more. The first place I would to go is USA specifically New York because since I can remember it has been my favourite city. I love the architecture of the old neighbourhoods. At the same time I like the modern buildings that the city have. The most important reason why I want to go to NY is because it is the city of fashion. I would like to visit many clothes shop like Victoria Secret, Bloomingdale's and Macy's. I believe that New York's night magic is unique. I would like to walk under the city lights and through  Central Park.

I think that in this city you can do whatever you want to do, and that is the life's secret

Last Blogg!

I can’t believe this is our last blogg I have to say that despite my mistakes in the previous blogg I had a lot of fun creating each blogg! I’ve never had the experience of blogging every week and the truth is that I’ve never been very interested in blogg. My experience writing blogg was good also I realized that I need to practice English gramar. However I have to admit that many times I was  a little stack and I didn’t try hard enough to do the blogg. I think that making blogg helped me “let go of my hand to write”. I learned more gramatical order and where I can put the phrases’s points. A part of all above I liked to write in a blogg because we could express our ideas freely also tell about us and about topics of our lifes: our hoppies, our families, our passions, our careers, etc. We can’t forget that at the same time we had the possibility to know many thing about our teacher.

In my opinión, before doing any blogg, a basic gramar class must be done in order not to make a banal mistakes and so we can apply what you learned in classes.

Trip to Las Torres del Paine

Hi blogger!

Today I gonna talk about Nature. Honestly I'm not very close to nature because I really love City life. In my life I have had very few moments with nature but I I'll always remember a holiday with my Family in Torres del Paine. I have family in Punta Arenas a city very close to Las Torres Del Paine so we decided to go together. The trip to Las Torres del Paine was long but with landscapes I had never seen in my life. When we arrived at the place we decided to trek to get to Las Torres del Paine, at that moment we never thought it would be so exhausting. Anyway, each step was worth it as on the tour we went through beautiful places and we saw endemic animals that were from the region. I think that was the wildest, most narural and most beautiful thing I've ever seen seen because we had a chance to see a Puma Patagónico a very important animal for our Chilean biodiversity and that we have to protect. Finally when we arrived at the spot that overlooks Las Torres it was fascinating. Literally they were imposing "Cuernos" I felt so small in front of such a spectacle.

At that time I thought we're nothing in front of nature. It's wonderful.

The most stressful part of the term

Hi guys!

I'm almost finishing my third semester at University and I can say it has been a bit stressful. I love my career anyway. Although some subjects have been a bit difficult for me as Calculus III and workshop on natural resources, I think I'm passing all my subjects.

This term I got six subjects. I know it looks like crazy but the truth is that only four of those subjects require more study time. I have Calculo III, Statistics I, Workshop on natural resources, Renewable Natural Resources, Environmental Economics and English.

My favourite subject is Renewable Natural Resources because in this subject the teacher is really good. His name is Fernando Santibañez and he is a lil old but an excellent teacher. You can see how much he like the contents. The contents of the subject have been fascinating for me. I've learned a lot about the planet and our resources. How we need to save our planet, water and energy resources, etc.

The truth is that my schedule has been very relaxed. My classes start late twice a week and my other three classes end pretty early. Actually this term I have had a lot of free time to do more exercise and hang out with my friends.

Youtube is my salvation

Hello bloggers! how have you done?

Today I'll talk about my favourite website to research about my career. Youtube has been my salvation since I got into the University. This Website is very popular actually and you can find anything you want. Nevertheless you always have to be careful with the content of this website. All the people of the world can upload videos and sometimes those videos can be very weird haha.

Anyway, in youtube you can find study videos. For example I always watch videos about calculus and chemistry because those subjects have been a nightmare for me in my university years. I also watch many documentaries that my teachers have recommended to me about climate change.

Literally every day I visit this website. I love that in a few minutes an online teacher can teach me what I didn't understand in classes.

Obviously I also use youtube to listen and watch music videos.

7 Food Forest in 7 minutes

Hello there!
Today I wanna talk about a really interesting topic that I didn't know and is the permaculture.

First you need to know what is the permaculture. It's a system that takes the knowledge of the nature to provides sustainable and permanent food to the people without to need to contaminate or destroy our natural  resources.
About the video I like how the video explain this technique. I think it will be a viable system for the society's future. How all we know the planet is collapsing and we need to help with something. Perhaps this system could help each person to create their own production because in the future according to environmentalist the people who create their own production will be the people who will survive the collapse of the planet.

So I wanna invite you to check out more information about permaculture which could be one of the solutions to the environmental problems of our planet and I would like to add that the invasive agriculture of the big companies is one of the biggest pollutants on the planet.

Today I'm gonna talk about my favourite photo. It was so hard to choose  my favourite photo because I really have a million of them. Anyway, the photo you can see is a very important moment of my life. I was living in England and I've been there for 6 months. Tha's when i met Alfie the love of my life. We spent a lot time together. We went to the parties, to the beach, to the cinema and we went to a many Electronic Music Festivals. He was my biggest support in that time when I felt alone in another country.
That photo was taken last year in our favourite night club and I remember that moment perfectly because it was the last party we spent together in England. We loved to dance. We were the soul of the party. I miss him a lot!

I hope Alfie could come to Chile in september! I' CANT WAIT!!!!!

Series

Hi guys! how are you today?

Today the topic that ill speak is about series or movies, definitely now watch movies is the new black haha so I became addicted to the series. I always wacthing a serie, for example recently I`ve been watching Game of thrones, my favourite series!. I think this series have been the best series in the history of the series, for the actors, directors, special effects and how real the serie looks.

Although i prefer the series now, before this big era of the series, i was a fan of the movies. I liked going to the cinema all the time, i think you can feel more differents emotions in front of the big screen.

To end i wanna say that the people are forgetting how romantic is watch a movie at the cinema, how exciting is buy a popcorn, and i feel so sad because I`m part of this, and maybe we need to see more than netflix and series hahaha...

Me and The Technology

Hi! Today I'll write about my favourite piece of technology

As we all know this generation use a lot the technology, more than any past generation.. So I use every day the technology, at uni, at home, at street, etc...
For me the technology is very important at the moment because for the uni we use this all days all day haha, so for me my favourite piece of technology is my movilphone, i need my movilphone al the time because we always do group work and i need to be communicating with my classmates all the time, also when i need to see some stuff from the uni, and send emails to my teachers. I can't imagine my life withou my phone anymore.
Obviously I also use the phone for my personal life, I have all the social medias, and have a lot followers on instagram, so I post almost all my life. I like this kind of social medias because you can see the life of your friends, make new friends and also always be aware of the latest news.

I liked write about the technology... I think because I love technology !! ahhaha what about you guys? see you soon!

Today i gonna start to talk about my career and how i choose this career.
First i study engineering in renewable natural resources, my career is not yet well known, but is very important for the future of the planet.
For me was too hard choose my career, so before i did Bachillerato at universidad of Chile, that course in bachillerato helped me to decided about my interests and my priorities. After Bachillerato i choose Nursing, because my whole life i wanted to work in something that would help the people, but nursing never convenced me at all.
So.. one day my best friend talked to me about Engineering in renewable natural resources, and for was amazing, because I realized that i could help the world and people from another field.
Now im so happy with my decision and I'll be working all of my life in my passion.

First. i would like to start telling my all name, im Javiera Ignacia Barría Cerda for this reason my close friends call me Nacha and not Javiera. Im 21 years old and i was born in Santiago of Chile 21 years ago.

I live with my parents and my dig called Bruno.

I studied in a public school called Liceo Carmela Carvajal, ive been there all my high school.

Now i study engineering in renewable natural resources at the university of Chile, for me was really hard to decided which career i wanted to choose, so i started my university studies with Bachillerato.

Last year  ive been in UK for 6 moths. Was the best experience of my life, i went to England for learned english and got more experiences
